Materials
The Joshua Comfort Back chair series aluminum stacking chairs feature an integrated flexing back to assure that extra seating comfort.
The custom designed frame members are of 7/8" (2.22cm) extruded aluminum, reinforced with titanium. It is light in weight and will not rust. Two sides of the extruded aluminum are finished smooth and two sides facing front and back are in a sculptured classic design that will meet the test of time.
The powder coat finish (available in Gold, Soft Silver, Bronze, or Burgundy) is applied electrostatically after a thorough chemical cleaning to insure permanent adhesion.
The integrated back flexes to adjust automatically to the individual's comfort requirement during extended seating periods. The fiberglass mechanism is virtually maintenance free.
The new front to back leg configuration permits the chairs to almost stack straight up. The new front to back stacking bar (Patent applied for) affords for greater distribution of weight when stacked to the maximum.
The Comfort line of chairs feature an injection molded, curved seat panel which contributes substantially to the overall weight reduction. The curved seat is covered with 2" (5.1cm) of molded foam and is attached to the frame with Nylock™ bolts which fasten to the pre-inserted clinch nuts. The are no exposed fasteners.
The triple umbrella glides assure years of trouble free service.
The weight of the finished chair, depending on the upholstery cover, ranges from 14.5 to 15 pounds (6.50 to 6.80 kg).
