Custom designed frame members are extruded aluminum, which is light in weight
and will not rest. The inherent features of DPC's aluminum are enhanced by
alloying it with:
- Titanium - Refines grain structure for strength.
- Magnesium and Silicon - Aid in the extrusion process as well as adding strength.
- Manganese, Copper and Chromium - Further adds to the strength of the extrusion.
Structural integrity through engineered welding technique and special bracing
members. Exclusive new extrusion designs provide both strength and improved
appearance. New leg design for reduced floor spread and increased vertical
stability Exclusive front to back stacking bar design for greater distribution
of weight, when stacked to maximum height. (Patent applied for)
Foam cushioning meets the flammability requirements of Technical Bulletin
California 117. Overlap of seat panel maintains shape, provides comfort and
extends upholstery life.
Comfort curved seat features high density molded foam with injection molded seat
panel which is fastened to the frame by Nylock™ bolts to assure positive holding
in heavy duty use. The plasticized seat bottom has coordinated air escape holes.
There is no visible fastenings to detract from the overall design. Compound
curves on specified models offer extra comfort during extended seating use. The
matched back panels, with front and back upholstery, are injection molded.
Three, heat treated, spring steel clips provide support and holding power for
heavy duty contract use. Chrome plated steel base with rubber cushion inset
operates easily over carpeted and hard surface flooring. Molded vinyl ferrules
protect frame and upholstery from end of legs when chairs are stacked for
storage or transport. Test results at SGS Laboratory Testing Center indicate
glide withstands 436 pounds of pulling resistance.
Frames are cleaned and chemically treated prior to electrostatic application of
powder coating.
Features clear anodized aluminum finish for years of trouble free use.
